This is a leaderless "Show and Go" ride and is not marked, so please come prepared with a GPS device, map and/or knowledge of the area. This is a spirited and energetic post-work ride with a bit of everything: rollers, punchy hills, pace lines, and attacks! Notes: Riders should be very experienced riding in large groups of cyclists and well acquainted with riding in a tight pace line, climb well, and communicate effectively with other riders in the group. Comfort with group riding and good bike handling skills are very important. Don’t be surprised to find a tandem in the group, too. Depending on the number riders, we may divide up into smaller groups along the way according to speed, but we generally all start off as a single group. The group has been averaging between 20 and 22 mph and will go slightly higher as the season progresses. Riders will occasionally get dropped so you may find yourself riding solo or in smaller groups.
Bring front and rear lights at the beginning and end of the season.
