Come on a relaxed and scenic safety/conditioning ride in preparation for Emmaus Inc.’s 34th Annual Cycle for Shelter to be held September 18, 2022. We’ll ride the 15 mile “Family Fun” route. The flat route encircles the NECC area. It turns onto Rte. 110 for a few blocks where there is a wide cyclist-designated shoulder, then turns downhill, into the woody backroads to the start, where we can “drop off” any who want to finish at 10 miles, then we extend it to 15.
This ride is for anybody who wants to practice safe group riding while enjoying some company and exploring Northeast Haverhill. We will have handouts (from NSC website), and will emphasize various safety behaviors each week. Accidents are always a risk of cycling, but we do what we can to prevent them. You will be asked to sign a waiver if you are not yet a member of NSC.
