Due to rain on July 13, this clinic has been rescheduled to 12:30 pm on August 10th.
The North Shore Cyclists is offering its members a second bike workshop this season. This one will be presented again by Guenther Anger of Abby Velo Mobile Bike Services, and it will focus on the bicycle drivetrain.
The workshop will take place from noon-1:30 pm, Saturday, August 10th, in the parking lot of the Masconomet High School after many people have completed the Saturday Fitness ride. The workshop is limited to 25 people.
Content to be covered:
- Reviewing the part's of the bicycle drivetrain
- Maintaining and assessing wear and tear for key parts such as the chain, chainrings, cassette, and brake pads
- Replacing those parts when necessary
- Tools needed for doing the work
