The rides go through scenic areas of Amesbury, Merrimack, and southern New Hampshire. The terrain is rolling hills with river views, farms, scenic vistas, and lots of quiet roads. All the loops go by historic Kingston, NH common. The medium and long route go through picturesque Newfields with the long going around through Newmarket, by the lively college town of Durham and around Great Bay. There is also a start in Exeter.
