Join fellow NSC members for the second instance of Bikes & Tunes, an evening of cycling and rousing jazz music.This time we are also offering a gravel ride option.
The road ride rolls out from Odell Park in Beverly at 5:00 pm. The 20 mile route flows through Beverly over to the shore line, then proceeds up the coast past Endicott College, then over past Gordon College in Wenham, on to Hamilton, and then turns back to Beverly and the ride start. Please be ready for the pre-ride talk at 4:45 pm.
The gravel ride also rolls out at 5:00 pm and goes through Endicott College on the way to Beverly Commons. From there the route wends through Gordon Woods before turning back to Beverly. The gravel ride is

Music will be provided in the Backbeat Brewery, adjacent to Odell Park, by the Backbeat Orchestra, a group of sixteen accomplished musicians from the greater Boston area and featuring an outstanding brass section. Music may include standards by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and compositions by various members of the orchestra. The performance will start at 7:00 pm and conclude at 9:00 pm. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and there is no cover charge.
Besides a range of draft beers and coffees, Backbeat Brewery offers a selection of pizzas and sandwiches.
