• Wear your best Halloween riding costume or decorate your bike
  • Haunt all the Newburyport neighborhoods
  • Ride like a kid again

The NSC 2023 Halloween ride promises to be scarier than ever. This is a fun ride! Costumes are encouraged but not required. No scary hammer head riding allowed on Halloween. Road bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes, trikes or anything else you wish to ride is welcome. No pre-registration required.

The ride begins and ends at the Newburyport Brewery. There are options of 19 and 26 miles, which split at the Tannery’s Farmers Market. The ride includes the entire Clipper City Rail Trail in Newburyport and the Eastern Marsh Trail in Salisbury up to the NH border. All trails are paved except for 1/10 mile of hardback at the northern end of the Eastern Marsh trail. All of the roads are paved.

Following the ride will be a NSC sponsored pizza for all participating members (those who participate in the ride or come in costume). There is limited parking in front of the Brewery (please don't use all the Brewery parking). There is room to park nearby. It is suggested to park along the road on one side so as not to block the road!
