This route has been updated for 2026 based on feedback on the original ride, and has reduced the elevation, too.

Ride through the quiet, scenic roads of Boxford and surrounding towns.  All three rides include twenty-two scenic miles with nice rolling hills and 830 feet elevation.  Take a moment to appreciate the stunning stone walls and open fields at Meredith farm in Topsfield.  There’s a rough road section on Foster Street in Boxford.  The 22 mile route will then take a right on to Main Street.  The longer routes will head left up Main Street.  The 2nd rough patch is at the bottom of Lakeshore on the Boxford/Haverhill line.  Split for 32 and 47 is at Center Street, whereby the 47 route stays on Center Street.

These routes provide quiet rolling hills with minimal traffic and beautiful scenery.  Remember, hills are your friends.  “Train the hills to ride the mountains”.
