Loosely based on the Tour de Greenbelt, the “Tour de Can” instead departs from the Rusty Can - a popular post-ride lunch destination. Our route passes numerous conservation lands administered by Essex County Greenbelt, the Trustees, Crane Pond Wildlife Management, Baldpate Pond and Bradley Palmer State Park, Appleton Farms, and local towns.
The Sandpiper Bakery in Ipswich (mile 33.7) is an excellent bakery/coffee stop to fuel the final 10 miles.
